Welcome to the City of Riverside, Community Development Department web site. I am honored to serve as the Interim Director of Community Development for this large and beautiful community and pleased to share our message with customers throughout our city. As the Interim Director of Community Development, I am delighted also to share with you the pride I have in our staff, our innovative programs, and the accomplishments of this city. It is also my belief that a visit to our public counter, located on the third floor of City Hall (at 3900 Main Street, Riverside, CA) will demonstrate the strong commitment of all Community Development staff to our programs and to providing the very best customer service possible.

This web site serves as an important vehicle for sharing information with the development community and the general public relating to the excellent programs and services provided by the Community Development Department, primarily through our three major functions: Planning, Building & Safety, and Code Enforcement. While providing essential information to the public, the web site allows you the opportunity to contact our staff for further information.
