It takes approximately 5 to 6 weeks to receive the passport from the Department of State Passport Agency. The City Clerk's Office offers Express Mail to deliver your application to Passport Services. This fee is $12.96 for routine service and can be included in the City payment.
For an additional fee of $60.00 per passport, Passport Services will expedite your application. This will reduce processing time to approximately 3 weeks.
Passport Services will Express Mail your expedited passport back to you (1-2 day delivery time) for an additional $14.96 and can be included in the Passport Services payment.
The City Clerk's Office offers Express Mail to deliver your application to Passport Services (1-2 day delivery time). This fee is $17.40 for expedite service and can be included in the City payment.
