Trash & Recycling
Residential Trash Rates
All city residential trash services are managed by the Public Works Solid Waste Division.
Services include both automated (using robotic trash trucks) and manual collection.
- Automated collection is once per week with the same day pick up for all three trash types.
- Manual collection occurs twice per week with trash being serviced on one day, while recycling and green waste are collected on the other.
Some areas of the city such as La Sierra, University and Orangecrest are serviced by Burrtec Waste Industries under contract to the city.
Rates are effective August 1, 2011
